A Simple Product is the most basic type of product. It is a standalone item with no variations or options.

  • Example: A downloadable game file.

  • Use Case: Ideal for selling digital items like game files, artwork, or PDFs that have a fixed price and no variations.

2. Variable Product

A Variable Product allows vendors to create products with variations. These variations can differ in attributes like size, edition, or price.

  • Example: A game with different editions, such as Basic Edition and Ultimate Edition.

  • Use Case: Suitable for products that come in multiple versions or formats.

How to Set It Up:
  1. Define attribute (e.g., Edition).

  2. Check the attribute as "use for variation"

  3. Create variations from those attributes.

  4. Set prices, links etc for each of variation

3. Grouped Product

A Grouped Product is a collection of related products that can be purchased together or individually.

  • Example: A group of products that includes multiple standalone games.

  • Use Case: Perfect for vendors who want to sell a series of products that fit together.

Key Features:
  • Customers can select individual items from the group.

  • Each item has its own price 

  • There is no discount on the group product! This is not a bundle!

4. Affiliate Product

An Affiliate Product is a product that is listed on your store but sold on another website. When customers click on the product, they are redirected to the external site to complete the purchase.

  • Use Case: Useful for vendors who want to earn commissions through affiliate marketing.

How to Set It Up:
  1. In the product type dropdown, select External/Affiliate Product.

  2. Enter the external URL where the product is sold.

  3. Set a button text, such as Buy Now.
