Creating a simple product

Access Your Vendor Dashboard
  1. Go to your Vendor Dashboard.

  2. Click on Products > Add New Product.


Enter Basic Product Details

  1. Enter the Product Title and Description.

  2. In the Product Type dropdown, select Simple Product.

  3. Set your Regular Price (and Sale Price if applicable).

  4. Choose the product Category, Make sure you also select the sub-category. For instance: Porn Games -> Adult Visual novel


Set Your Product as Virtual and Downloadable

For digital products, ensure you select the correct options:

  1. Check both Virtual and Downloadable checkboxes.

  2. This ensures that the product is treated as a digital item with no shipping required.

If this options are not ticked there will be a missing Add Files Section


Add Product Images

  1. Upload a high-quality image for the Product Image. We recommend 1920x1080

  2. Add additional images to the Product Gallery to showcase your product from different angles.


Choose the Correct Product Tags

Tags are essential for helping customers find your products. Use relevant tags to improve visibility:

  • Example Tags: 2D, 3D, Ahegao, Fantasy, Pixel Art.

  • Avoid using irrelevant or excessive tags.

Tags help your product appear in relevant searches, increasing the likelihood of discovery.


Select the Correct Product Attributes

Attributes make it easier for users to filter and find products. Choose attributes that accurately describe your product:

  • OS (Operating System): Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.

  • Language: English, Spanish, Japanese, etc.

  • Project Status: Complete, In Development

  • Programming Language: Unity, Unreal Engine, RPG Maker, etc.

Adding relevant attributes improves your product's visibility in search filters.


Check the Purchase Limit Option

If you want to limit customers to purchasing only one copy of your product per order:

  1. Scroll to the Inventory section.

  2. Check the Sold Individually option to limit purchases to 1 item per order.

MOST OF PRODUCTS WILL WANT TO HAVE THIS ENABLED!


Add Downloadable Files

If your product is downloadable, follow these steps to upload your files:

  1. Scroll to the Downloadable Files section.

  2. Click Add File.

  3. Enter a File Name (e.g., Game File, Art Pack).

  4. Click Choose File to upload your file from your computer.

  5. Set the Download Limit - We will set this limit for you

  6. Set the Download Expiry date if you want to limit how long the file is available. (Usable if you have version coming out monthly and want to have users buying the product again)


Important!

All files that are being sold need to be hosted by us! So please upload your files to our servers! You can use other provides for any demo or free things.

If the Add Files section is missing, Make sure that both Virtual and Downloadable checkboxes are chosen or try to tick them again.


Submit Your Product

  1. Once all the details are complete, click Submit to send your product for review.

  2. The SpicyGaming team will review and approve your product before it goes live on the site.


A Simple Product is a single, standalone item without variations. It is ideal for selling individual digital items like games, artwork, or PDFs.

Creating a variable product

Creating a variable product is in essence the same as doing a simple product. The difference is A Variable Product allows you to offer different versions of a product (e.g., Basic Edition, Ultimate Edition). The rest is the same!


Here's how to set up variations:


In the Attributes section, click Add Attribute.

For example, add an attribute called Edition with values like "Basic" and "Ultimate". 

Make sure you check the "Used for variations" checkbox is enabled


Save the attribute!


Go to the Variations tab and click Create Variations from All Attributes.


Set the price, files, etc. for each variation.


Select the default variation you want to be preselected.


Publish the product!
